Meet Rebyidel, L.Ac, CST, SER, candidate, DAOM
Yehuda Frischman is licensed to practice Acupuncture and Oriental medicine by the California state Acupuncture Board. He is a graduate of Dongguk Royal University (2004) with a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech and Drama from Yeshiva College (1974), as well as an Associate of Arts degree in Jewish Studies from The James Striar School of Yeshiva University(1974).
Yehuda then attended Yeshivat Sha'alavim for two years. He has completed a number of seminars taught by the Upledger institute in CranioSacral Therapy and SomatoEmotional release, as well as completing the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) seminar with an externship attended at Beit T'Shuva in Los Angeles.
As well as maintaining a busy practice in TJM, Yehuda is the founder and moderator of the international professional on-line Yahoo discussion group: traditional Jewish Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and currently teaches at the Mesivta of Los Angeles.
His articles have appeared in The Jewish Journal of Los Angeles, The San Diego Jewish Times and The Ohio Jewish Bulletin.
He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Yocheved. He has 3 married children: Ariella (Bastomski), (Los Angeles), Chavi (Stein), (San Diego) and Yechiel and his wife, Rivka, (Elad, Israel).
Though maintaining a busy and successful practice as a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Jewish and Chinese medicine, Yehuda is also pursuing an advanced degree at Samra University, with a specialty in pain management. After completing the program he will be recognized as a DAOM (Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
